A:AnswerIt takes halogen bulbs purchased specifically for this unit sold at amazon, I was able to feed the bulbs into flush housing without the use of the tool required to assist removal and installation. I purchased it anyhow! https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092YNCVTP/?coliid=I1IPAO19FVQO72&colid=2RPT3LQC8O0UN&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
A:AnswerYes. I replaced my exhaust microwave for this and am glad I did. It gives me much more clearance than what I did have. Everything on the hood works well! Glad I chose it.
A:AnswerI ordered through the install home agent as it was necessary to have him come in and designate types required, I found this one had it installed as it was reasonably priced sufficient quality works great. He agreed!
A:AnswerThank you for your question regarding the BCDF130SS range hood. Yes, this model is Title 24 compliant. You will see the compliance information along the left hand side of our specification sheet.
A:AnswerI think I can answer your question, as my just purchased and installed the Broan BSCQ130SS model. It is a cabinet range hood which can be vented (wherein ductwork to the outside used) horizontally from the back through an outside wall of your house, or vertically through the top and inside the upper cabinet of your kitchen then up through the roof; It can also be converted to a ductless range hood (wherein ductwork to the outside is not used) wherein it recirculates air back into the kitchen. I used the vertical option because that's the type I replaced and the ductwork through the roof was already in place.
A:AnswerIt cycles air through a big screen filter not vented to the outside as a kitchen fan does. It clears the area of rising heat and steam from atop the oven.
A:AnswerYes it can be used as either vented or ventless. Nothing additional needed, just remove some small metal panels on top with screwdriver. Had to call the store because instructions didn't say anything about how to remove to make ventless. Electrician insisted we bought wrong one & couldn't use. It's a new design & he didn't realize you just remove the little plate covers to convert to ventless.
