• Well if you don’t have cable or and no internet then you wouldn’t be able to watch any streaming device either so probably wouldn’t recommend. This is good if you have cable tv, a Roku, gaming system and surround sound so you can switch from one component to the other quickly and easily with one remote.

• It'll work, but there won't be much functionality if it's not connected to the internet. If your TV has four HDMI inputs, it does nothing different from that if it's offline.

• Yes, but you'll need to get another device to provide the streaming services. So you'd need a Roku or Amazon Fire Stick to get Amazon videos or Netflix.
