“Can I install a microvisor underneath and can the protective lip under door be removed ?”

Hi! Thanks for asking. We can only recommend that this unit be installed as it's written in the Installation Instructions. Therefore, we don't recommend installing a microvisor hood below this model. We also don't recommend removing any part of the microwave itself as we've not tested or approved the appliance without all needed parts intact. We do hope this helps.
