Hello - The door does not physically lock; however, this unit does have the feature Lockout Mode, for when you are away and don’t want others opening your wine center. As soon as the door is opened the door alarm will sound. The interior lighting will remain off. If the wine center is connected to Wi-Fi, a notification can be received through the app that the door has been opened. We hope that you choose to become part of the Café family. Take care. -Don@GEA
