• I just want to say that I appreciate this question. My wife & I were considering this Cafe dishwasher but that colored ring is a deal killer.

• The Best Buy salesperson told me that the gold ring could be removed. I wouldn't buy this if I knew it wasn't removable but I would recommend double-checking or asking to witness how this is done. I find it to be very distracting from the overall aesthetic of this dishwasher and for my kitchen which will have no copper elsewhere.
