Hi - Thanks for reaching back out to us with this great question. The Express and Normal cycles both use approx. 1.8 gal (6.6 L). The rinse cycle uses the least amount of water at approx. 0.6 gal (2.3 L). We hope you choose this lovely dishwasher for your home. All our best! Vikki@Café
