Ultra Dry is an innovative new drying option that targets hard-to-dry items like plastics. It significantly improves drying performance of your dishwasher, providing up to 3 times better drying compared to a Heated Dry option. Your Ultra Dry system consists of an exposed dual wattage element (500 watts dry, 800 watts wet), as well as higher final rinse temperatures with additional dry time to heat (approximately 40 minutes). The heat drives moisture off the dishes and silverware, and is vented out of the machine through a natural convection airflow. Models with a hidden door vent have Ultra Dry with Fan Assist to enhance the drying process. We recommend using a rinse agent to further improve drying results. Your Ultra Dry option is activated when you press the Heated Dry or Dry pad twice to illuminate the Ultra light. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. Mike@Cafe
