“Does this item come with stainless steel knobs or do they have to be bought separately? Per one of the companies responses to a comment feedback, the customer complained of melting knobs, the company said she could purchase stainless steel knobs?”

I have had my Cafe 36" gas cooktop for about 2-1/2 years now. And I will definitely tell you they melt! I have now been through 2 sets. The last time I tried to order them on line I was told they were discontinued. I have looked all over for a metal replacement they do not exist.
