Yes, you can light it with a match or lighter. However, I would not buy this product from BestBuy. The stove is awesome! We purchased all three of the Cafe appliances back in April. After 7 deliveries we still don’t have a fridge that’s damage free, and no one from BestBuy ever reaches out, or seem to care for that matter. I suggest purchasing this stove, but elsewhere.
