“The grinder will not stop grinding beans until the whole hopper is empty. Even when I only press the grind button once this happens so I end up with a whole mound of ground coffee. I cannot stop the grinder even if the machine is shut off. Any solutions?”

The grinder will not stop even if I press the grind button again to try to stop it. If I turn off the machine, the grind keeps going. The single shot is set for the lowest 9 seconds.

You also have the option to adjust the grind size to be smaller to not overflow the portafilter. The grind time can be changed between 9.5s to 16s on the single shot button.
