This exact thing happened to me too! We fixed it along time ago but I unfortunately forgot exactly what we did. But what I do remember is that I used the user manual that came with the coffee machine to understand what the flashing lights meant. I believe it wanted us to clean the machines coffee bean grinder the reset the machine in a certain way. If you still have the user manual it will show you. Hope that helps
