China. But it is an American company, incorporated in Lexington KY, for what that’s worth. I would love. Love. Loooove, to stop buying things made in China. And I’d love even more to buy American made. We bought a coffee maker just before this (and returned) that was American made (Bunn) because I’d had great experience with them in commercial settings. Unfortunately they didn’t alter the basic design for home use and the result is beyond impractical to borderline unsanitary if used just once a day, unlike an office/restaurant/gas station/etc. The dark water reservoir has to be kept full of warm water (but not boiling/boiled), making it perfect for growing bacteria and impossible to see if things are getting funky. By contrast I can see this water reservoir entirely and it has squared off corners that will be easy to clean if they do get at all funky. And I can see if anything accidentally falls in there. After years of use, things do fall into the reservoirs of coffee makers, I’ve seen it. Unfortunately that was maybe the worst but not the least of what made that product grossly inferior to the Café Smart. We hadn’t wanted to spend twice as much for a coffee maker but in the end we were thrilled we did. I’ll have to write my Congressman about my other concerns. Hope that helped!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there - Thanks for reaching out about our wonderful coffee maker! This model is manufactured globally. We don't have the country of origin for this product as a whole, but it will be shown on the rating plate and on the packaging. Thanks again! -Mikayla@Cafe
