“I am brewing coffee at 205 and it’s not as hot as expected. Would this mean maybe an issue with the device? I just bought 5 days ago. I have to microwave for about 20 seconds to get to the perfect temp.”

Hello, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this amazing drip coffee maker. I'm sorry to hear that your coffee is not as hot as expected, we can understand your frustrations. The temperature setting is based on the temperature of the water when they contact the coffee grounds. The temperature will be lower in the carafe at the end of the brew. Because of this, checking the temperature with a thermometer is not an accurate way to verify temperature. This being said, we would like to recommend increasing the temperature a small amount to see if this helps.
