A:AnswerHello - that’s a great question! Each appliance has a rating plate that provides the model and serial number as well as specific electrical data pertaining to the appliance. Some newer appliance model/serial tags have QR codes that can be scanned with your phone to take you directly to information pertaining to your specific product. For Café Slide-In Ranges, there are two possible locations for the rating plate: 1. On the bottom of the control panel, visible from below when the oven door is open 2. Behind the door, on the front frame (Double-Oven Ranges: Behind the door on the LOWER oven, on the front frame) -- For a visual to help locate these on your range, search for the Page titled “Appliance Model and Serial Number Finder” on our Café Appliances website. We hope this is informative and if you need any further assistance, please feel free to reach out to us on social media anytime. Have a great day! Lauren@Café
A:AnswerHey there, and thanks for your interest in this beautiful range! We know how important the broiling option can be when you’re preparing food, and we’re glad to advise there is both an 8-Pass broil element in the lower oven as well as a 6-Pass broil element in the upper oven; you can indeed broil in both ovens. We hope this information helps, and we’re confident this range would be a great fit for your cooking needs. If you have any other questions or concerns, we’re always happy to assist. All the best! -Sarah@Café
A:AnswerHello, thank you for your question! No, you can have both ovens set to whichever temperature you desire within the range's limits. We hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. – CV
A:AnswerThanks for checking with us. Yes, the outlet shouldn't be on the floor and a new cord would need to be installed. We recommend consulting with an electrician. Note: You will need a 4-Wire or 3-Wire cord. The recommended acceptable electrical outlet area is shown in the installation instructions. You'll want to orient the electrical receptacle, so the length is parallel to the floor. It should be 2 1/4 inches from the cabinets on the right or left side. Joyce@CafeAppliances
A:AnswerWe recommend baking your pies and bread in the lower oven. The heating element may be slightly too close to the pie and burn it. The approximate height dimension between the lowest rack position and broil element (usable space): Upper oven - 5.9" and in the Lower oven - 11". Please take a look at page 20 in the manual for baking suggestions. You can access the manual on Best Buys site and on our geappliances.com site.
A:AnswerYes, the door does open all the way, and you are able to pull out the rack without hitting the door. You can view this photo on Best Buys site.
A:AnswerThank you for checking with us! The burners on this amazing unit offer quite a bit of flexibility for pan sizes. The largest burner is 12”, but this tri-ring burner can actually be used as a 12”/9”/6” burner. There's also another dual ring burner that's an 8"/5" burner.
A:AnswerThis model will continue to function with the SmartHQ app. The only products that are obsolete are the units that are listed on the support article on the GE Appliances website titled: "Obsolete Products."
A:AnswerYes, the CES750P2MS1 does offer a self clean and steam clean mode. We recommend you review the "Cleaning the Range – Interior" section on pg. 22 of the Owner's Manual for more details.
A:AnswerWe are sorry to hear you are having this issue. This isn't what we expect. When you have a moment, please disconnect power for a couple of minutes. Then restore power and try the burner. If the buzzing continues, we recommend reaching out to Bodewell Service at 1-833-426-3393.
A:AnswerFor help with preventing scratches on this range, please review the section titled: "Metal Marks and Scratches" on pg. 24 of the Owner's Manual. To ensure you're properly cleaning your unit, we recommend following instructions in the "Cleaning the Range" section on pages 21-24.
To make sure you're using the correct cookware, please take a moment to review the section titled: "Cookware Guidelines" on pg. 17.
