Yes, it can be connected to an extension cord, but with conditions. Recommended requirements for the extension cord: Voltage/plug type: 3-prong grounded, 115V/125V (US standard) Wire gauge & rating: 14 AWG or 16 AWG, minimum 13A rated Length: ≤ 6 ft (1.8 m) recommended, do not exceed 10 ft Certification: UL Listed What to avoid: Do not plug multiple appliances into the same extension cord. Do not coil or hide the cord inside an enclosed cabinet long-term (risk of overheating).
