• No, this is designed to adapt EF mount lenses to Canon R series bodies. To adapt EF lenses to Sony, there are a couple of good choices (EF Sigma’s)!but this isn’t one of hem.

• No, this is using EF lens on the new Canon EOS R cameras. To use Canon EF lens on a Sony A7 series camera, get the Sigma MC-11 adapter. Metabones also makes adapters but they cost more.
