Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The kit lens is ok to get a feel for the camera but be prepared to buy some prime lenses for better photos/options. It’s an APS-C crop sensor so remember the frame of the picture will be smaller and your lens will function a little differently. Example if you put a 50mm lens on a crop sensor camera it performs more like an 80mm would on a full frame sensor. The lens also has a variable aperture. It really depends on your skill set....
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have taken a couple hundred pictures with this camera now and am extremely satisfied. The lens seems great at all magnifications. I regularly submit to stock agencies and have a 99.9% acceptance ratio with this camera. Of course, the pictures are lightly edited in Lightroom and/or Photoshop.
