• Minolta was purchased by Sony and they have been using that factory as the base for Sony cameras. I suggest you check in a Sony forum.

• I'm not aware of any adapter at the moment to go from EF mount to Minolta. If there is one it would not allow for electronics to work, would mean manual focusing and manual aperture only. This Adapter is to go from EF, EF-S to smaller EF-M mount.
