I am not sure about the DPI for this camera but I can tell you it takes great close up shots
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.AFAIK the Powershot is only going to give you 180dpi at the highest setting. You can view this by right clicking on a photo file and selecting "Properties", then clicking the "Details" tab. HOWEVER...this dpi number is basically MEANINGLESS! The number stored in the EXIF data in "Properties" can easily be changed in Photoshop. You might want to check and see the actual pixel dimensions they require. The DPI can be edited easily without affecting the quality of the photo at all. At it's highest setting the Powershot shoots 20MP at 5152 x 3864. HTH!
