• I believe that the view screen tilts upwards so that you can turn the camera and take pictures of yourself

• You take pictures like a normal camera. There's a touchscreen on the back. You can flip the screen 180 degrees up to take selfies, but it does take some getting used to as this camera is on the heavier/larger side of point and shoots. My wife uses it in auto as a point and shoot and I use it in manual for editing. We previously purchased a G9X, but exchanged it for the G7X and are extremely happy.

• The screen can rotate 180 degrees up for people who like to vlog or take selfies; as well as 45 degrees down. However, it does not have two separate cameras.
