How easy is it to see the view screen in bright sunlight? My current camera does not have a view finder, only a screen which is barely visible in bright sunlight. Very hard to set up shots

This camera does not feature a view finder either; screen can be difficult to see on sunny days. Some folks in my photography group use a cell phone protector on their screen to cut down on glare; others purchased a camera that has a tilt screen (I'm sorry, I do not know what model that is).
As to the camera - I just love it!! I do a lot of macro photography with an add on lens and it takes awesome shots. Also wonderful for anything else I point it at all the way to the super moon!

This is the only fault I have with this camera. I too cannot see the screen when the sun is too bright. However, I have found that for most of my shots, I just point in the right direction, slightly press the button to get auto focus, and the pictures have turned out great.

The screen is bright enough to make pictures in full sun in Caribbean.
