- Answer No...this does not have any scanning capabilities. You would have to digitize the actual picture first before sending it to this printer.

QuestionPossible gift for employer, who will use on the go, but at home, she has no wifi or internet at all. Will she still be able to print from her iphone with no internet connection at all. No hotspot, no neighbor wifi, nothing? Not used with other devices.

- Answer You can connect with any device that has a Wifi option, so any brand phone, tablet or computer will work. You just turn on Wifi, push the wifi button on the printer and then select the printer on your device. Once connected, you go to the photo, choose print on your device, and choose that printer. You can also password protect it. You can also insert an SD card. (We use a micro SD with adapter. ) No phone app required.

- Answer We have only used Selphy photo paper but haven’t tried any other brands. When you get the paper you get the ink for the printer
