Is an additional screen protector needed? This will be my second iphone 6 because I shattered the screen already so I am looking for a protective but stylish case. The reviews say its protective but should I also get the tempered glass screen cover as well?

I got the glass screen guard as well to protect from screen breakage due to minor accidents.
The cover is good for the body with corners protected.

I got the screen protector and have already cracked 2 of them! It is definitely helpful, no case is going to protect your screen unless you get one of those bulky ones like lifecase or otterbox. The best part about the tempered glass protectors is the lifetime gaurentee, you crack it, just send it back and they send you a new one! And Best buy price matches amazon so I only spent like 17 bucks!

I will still recommend the screen protector, the screen protector does a great job protecting the screen from breaking, it would be really helpful when trying to sell or trade phone and get a good value for it.

Yes get the tempered glass because the front is exposed without it. This will help it from shattering the real screen if you drop it.

I personally do not like the screen protectors. I've dropped this phone on concrete at least 6x and no cracks!

You can use the otter box with the tempered glass and it fits perfect.

Yes I would. I have the Zagg shield in glass on my iPhone 6. It's awesome and you can barely tell its on there. I put Zagg on all my phones. Saves the screen from being scratched.
