• You have to hold down the power button for a second, if you just tap it it doesn’t turn it on.

• Just wanted to let you know; I took the CD player back to Best Buy. They couldn’t get it to come on either. Still in warranty. Got a new one. Thanks for your help.

• First, the power button is pushed. Second, select a source and press & hold the button until it is lit in the LED display.
