Do these have an expiration date? I know the cheap paper ones do, because the lenses degrade over time, which leaves me curious about these. Thank you so much! null

There is no expiration on eclipse filters that are ISO 12312-2, as are all Celestron solar filters, but please inspect them for scratches, punctures, or tears if they have been stored for long periods.

No—but make sure iso—international standards organizations and nasa updates standards. Science advances. We only know so much today what is safe. Besides, our ozone layers may be busted faster letting in new rays in—then glasses /materials may have to be changed to provide the protection we need.

They do, but since they comply with the ISO 12312-2 standard, you can store them way past the date on the box.

Not that I saw.  They are made by Celestron, the telescope maker.
