• I used it yesterday and it looks like after about 30 mins or so it will finally shut off and just keep the "start" button lit. Works great so far.

• Yes, you can turn it off by pressing the power button for few seconds. I wondered the same thing and the manual mentioned this. Just tested and it worked.

• I just bought today. It will not shut off with a touch of any button. It has a delayed response to pushing any thing on the panel, but no turn off button. I saw where someone said after 30 mins it does shut off. The only thing that remains on is the start button. So I’m watching to see if it does. I will let you know.
