If my TV HDMI doesnt not support the Turn on HDMI feature then the Power bottom from the remote is useless to me? Am I right? null

The remote has universal IR capability with a power button and volume control. Similar to the roku remote I have it doesnt turn on the TV through HDMI but the way any normal TV remote would work.

The voice remote has both Bluetooth and IR to control your TV, soundbar, or receiver. As long as you're able to set up Chromecast with Google TV in the Google Home app, and have Google TV platform displayed on your TV via your TV's HDMI port, you should be able to turn off / on the TV with Chromecast voice remote. During the setup process, the app will walk you through the step-by-step instructions to get these features set up.

The Remote has IR so it should be able to contro your TV

It won't work. Most TV's from the past 5 years should have this feature though.
