I have a chromecast ultra. This is way better. I litterly have no issues with as far as streaming cutting out. I couldn't stream 4k with the ultra. This one no issue at all. Definitely worth the money the remote is definitely the cherry on top.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast Ultra and Chromecast with Google TV are both streaming devices where you can use a lot of cast-enabled apps for the TV. Chromecast Ultra allows users to play online content from your phone or tablet and plugs into any TV or monitor with an HDMI port and doesn’t have any apps (it just receives content). Chromecast with Google TV on the other hand has an internal storage where you can download and run apps and games. It offers sharper 4K picture quality and access to tons of apps without having to cast them from your phone or tablet. Plus, Chromecast with Google TV includes a Voice Remote. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only thing missing in the CCGTV as of now is Stadia support. Nevertheless, it will be added in a few months. The other thing missing is the RJ45 port. You may use a USB hub with ethernet, but the throughput may be lower than the wifi connection due to the internal USB2.0 interface limit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can cast but don't have to cast from your phone or other devices. This one can you can actually download the apps you want to stream from directly to the Chromecast with TV. It also has a remote with voice controls. It does more, but those are just some of the basics.
