It comes with one remote, but there is a remote control feature in the Google Home app for your smart phone that can also be used to control the Chromecast device (but not the TV).

Please try again later.you have the choice of using the remote to find a show on say, Youtube OR you can cast Youtube or other streaming show directly from laptop, tablet or phone like the old chromecast. However, You can not cast Netflix; you must log into Netflix with remote (but only Netflix).
