“I want to know if this is safe to use on a carpet and how many SQ can it heat up. Also I would like to know if the App would only work If I'm on the same WIFI as the heater or if it will work if I'm over 20 miles away at work.”

I believe it is safe, when it falls the power will cut off. You must connect to 2.4G network, as 5G not supported. Home internet should have available 2.4G to connect. Once connected, you can operate anywhere, but I have not tried in any foreign countries yet. Thanks. Oracle_Pro (Pls Note,I am just an owner/user).
