The kit comes with everything you need to install on an AMD or Intel chip. It includes all the pieces and parts for a complete install. Although I bought a higher level of thermal paste in addition to what was in the package. I had a liquid cooling system that failed and bought this more as a test then a long term fix. After install (and the addition of an additional fan) it works as well if not better than the liquid cooler. I am very happy.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the kit comes with everything you would need out of the box to install on any of the Intel or AMD sockets they specify compatibility with. Personally, I bought some "nicer" (more expensive) thermal compound and used that instead, but if I had payed more attention and noticed there was some included I would've saved my $$ and bought a second fan right away instead.. with 2 fans this cooler competes with just about every liquid AIO cooler I've seen or used.. for like half the price at most.
