• Yes, it is compatible with the Asus ROG CrossHair VIII Hero mainboard and works perfectly with the Ryzen 7 5800x. As long as you are not planning to overclock (much) this will work great. Also ensure you have adequate air flow in your case. As far as better than a single fan AIO - it is honestly probably just as good as the average AIO but it would really depend on the model you were comparing.
