We’re sorry to hear about your experience. The Concord is a 2-in-1 cooler and warmer, so it is designed to both cool and warm contents depending on the selected mode. In Warming Mode, the unit can warm contents up to 149°F, which is useful for keeping items warm. In Cooling Mode, however, the unit moves heat from inside the fridge to the rear vent, so the back may feel warm during normal operation.
