You are confusing specifications. Peak single core processor speed can hit 5.2 GHz. When more than one core is running, the processor will drop speeds to the processor designed speeds. 3.6 GHz. If you are overclocking the processor then you might hit higher numbers but just a stock processor with a stock cooler it will not.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will need to manually boost for constant boost. Out of the box, it normally runs at 3.6 GHz. But you'll need to make sure you boost slowly and check voltage and temps before trying to boost to 5.2 depends on your motherboard too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, on my MSI motherboard, in the BIO's, under OC settings, I set the heatsink as a tower cooler or water-cooler, and my 10850k runs between 4.9-5.1 GHz, full load all cores.Set for a box cooler, and it runs at 4.2 GHz
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Scott, For the Intel Core i9-10850K, the base clock frequency is 3.6GHZ and the max single core frequency is 5.2GHZ utilizing Intel Turbo Boost and, if present, Intel Thermal Velocity Boost. Thank you for choosing Intel.
