The commander unit only has 6 slots. So the 3 fans from the cooler and 3 additional fans is it, not 6 additional fans.

Please try again later.3 fans are taken up on module leaving 3, you can get a repeater module but they take up a usb header just like the commander and only repeat the pwm signal not rgb you you would wither pair with a Lighting Node Core. OR, run 2 commanders. Both ways control 12 fan pwm and rdg. And you can always use splitters , they will use the same speed or rgb as the fan they are piggy backed too.
