• The included controller can power 6 fans and 6 RGB lighting connectors. To get to 9, you will have to get more controllers.

• the commander only controls 3 additional fans and the 3 additional rgb. the radiator fans take up the first 3 slots of each.

• You will indeed need another RGB/fan controller if you want to do 9 fans total. The Commander included with this AIO supports 6 fans, 3 of which will be used for the 120mm radiator fans. As an additional tip, make sure you have enough internal USB connectors on the motherboard to support all devices. Best of luck!
