It is ok but keep in mind these large radiators are best at the top of your case with the tubes going down to your cpu and back up. There many who say it’s fine to place the coolers sideways in the front but now the cooler may end up working harder than it needs to. I’m sure you can find many compelling arguments why it’s not a big deal but if you’re cooling a high end CPU don’t take chances with potential issues later. If you’re planning an upgrade within a couple years then it’s probably fine but I usually do builds that last 4-5 years since high end systems are expensive and it’s better to do it right the first time rather than have it fail and potentially cook your system. Good luck! It’s a great cooler and was a fairly simple install I don’t do heavy over clocking though and it keeps me plenty cool.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yeah I have my radiator front mounted no overheating issues at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've heard online a lot that placing a radiator in front isn't a good idea because it's a good rule of thumb to want a whole side of the computer to remain "dedicated to blowing room temperature air" into the pc. If you place the radiator in front, but that is the only "input source" of airflow, you may be potentially be providing hot air toward the inside of your pc, meaning that your pc insides will never ever have cool air at any time. If you still want to continue forward with using this case, I suggest at least making the airflow go from back to front of the pc case, so point your fans so the direction of airflow starts from the back and top vents and tries exiting out the front of the pc. I googled the pc case and I suggest to make an attempt to leave it on top because it looks long enough, but it may just be my imagination. If you still want to go forward with this case I suggest building it with the intent of airflow working in the direction I drew. Keep in mind that in the end, I personally believe airflow is not a big deal, especially if your pc components (ie cpu and gpu) don't generate that much heat at all. Good Luck on it!
