• Absolutely will function with console. You’ll need to get a hub depending on your port usage though.

• I cant say for sure that it will as I have no need to hook it up to a PS5. Years ago I did connect a keyboard and mouse to a playstation 4 and it worked perfectly fine. There was definitely a delay with both the keyboard and mouse so exspect that if its your fist time doing this.
