Does the paste harden as it dries, remain paste, or liquify slightly with heat? null

It basically turned to a liquid on my CPU. Also causes my CPU to hit it's thermal limit all the time. With a water cooler and better fans (higher pressure and more cfm) I couldn't play the same games I could before swapping CPUs. Not recommended unless you plan on cleaning up a lot and changing it out.

It’s hardens a bit over time, but not to much so that it can stay an effective medium for heat transfer.

It dries somewhat, but is a slow moving liquid, a thick paste almost, once applied. If you're trying to remove, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a cloth.

The paste remains solid at all times and has the consistency of peanut butter at room temperature. I use this thermal compound on my computer and have run into no problems so far. It has been over a year since I have applied. I recommend this product for its quality and price.

The thermal paste should have a paste consistency and will loosen slightly under system load.
