Seems like you'd need DDR3L in 1600MHz for that system. Please confirm with your specific manual and reach out for any other questions; support.corsair.com

A:AnswerHello,
From what I was able to find online you'd need to stick to 1600MHz memory for this model.
"Better" wouldn't apply unless you know if you need more memory or you're fine with 4 or 8gb.

A:AnswerHi JC,
I'd consult the site/person where you read that that will work, as we cannot recommend you use anything that's not recommended by Asus themselves (4gb per slot).

Afraid not, please visit the product page on the Apple site for that model or refer to your manual, but you should be limited to 8gb @1066MHz.

A:AnswerHi,
Please refer to your specific laptop's official manual to confirm. Although we wouldn't be able to confirm the speed will increase when you add more than 1 module/kit together.

A:AnswerThe thing you need to pay attention to is if your laptop uses DDR3 or DDR3L. The specks on your laptop say it uses DDR3L so DDR3 will not work. Laptops that use the DDR3L, which is memory that uses 1.35Volt instead of 1.5Volt power. The memory types are not interchangeable. The maximum memory your laptop can use is 8GB, 2 slots of 4GB. If you now have 4 GB it may have 2 2GB cards installed. If it has one 4BG card you only need to order one 4BG card for the open slot.
