I'm not completely certain with this model, but I was _eventually_ able to install it on my ASROCK Fatal1ty X99X (which was not rated for 3200MHz). Do note, however, that it failed at first, so I had to update the motherboard firmware, clear the CMOS, install the new RAM, head into the BIOS, set the RAM to 3200MHz, and then save the settings and boot into the system. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it’s just standard, full sized ddr4 (not laptop sized). Fits in Z170, Z270, Z370, etc. Most modern full sized mobos take this size of ram
