I'm having trouble running it at 3600mghz without my PC crashing. What clock speed rate is this supposed to run at? Currently it's only running at 2100mghz which is just not why I bought these. null

You must go in to the bios and enable “XMP” to run at 3600. An internet search should offer plenty of videos if your not familiar with this process.

It runs at 3600mhz, but you motherboard and cpu both have to support that or you can’t run it.

3600 is the max speed it can run. Try changing your bios setting to 3400 and see if that works

Check that xmp is on in the BIOS then check the mobo website to make sure it is compatible.

Not sure your setup is, or what else is causing the crashing, but When I went in to my bios I had to select the x.m.p profile to allow me to select the 3600mhz that your memory should run at.

I had the same issue but with my i7 processor. I can’t overclock above the 3.6 GHz no matter what I do in bios. The ram was the same… at first. I figured out if I just selected memory try it in bios advanced over clocking settings it boosted to 3.6 MHz no problem so it’s running just fine. There is actually a shortcut button on the bios menu to just enable it. Idk about your motherboard. I’d do some research

That’s hard to answer without a ton of information like build and settings. I would advise searching with system specs and all info then maybe you’ll get a more proper answer. I’m running it at 3600mhz and all I did was set the xmp profile to on in the bios. I’m using intel obviously and have no idea what you’re running.

The base profile is 2100MHz, so that's what it defaults to. Are you enabling the 3600MHz XMP profile in BIOS? Setting the clock speed manually without changing the timings can cause extreme instability; enabling the XMP profile is best. If you still can't get it to work, you may have another issue (inadequate processor, inadequate motherboard, RAM installed in the wrong slots, etc.).

Depends on your chipset. I could only get 2966Mhz out of these. Enabling XMP would cause errors and no posts. I installed these in a few machines, An Asus z590 Hero that hit the 2966Mhz before erroring out. I booted an older system but haven't played with the speeds yet. I know the B-250 Asus board I have did post with XMP settings and they hit 3600 without errors but I am planning to put them in a different system and haven't played with testing that yet.
