• No purchase necessary, but the are a lot of online tools and sites to supplement the 3d printing community

• You can find the download for the software to print(slicer) from the Creality website and a download to design on the internet. Tinkercad is the easiest.

• Access to creality workshop is free and easy. Depending on how custom you want to get, you may need programs like openscad. Plenty of videos to walk you through everything.
