What I would do is look up your laptop I know if it’s a hp laptop they tell you what’s compatible with your laptop for me I have a gaming laptop and it was compatible in my opinion tho you really won’t notice much of a difference maybe .1s or 1s shorter loading times so I would only get the faster memory if you do video editing if it’s for gaming I would recommend a 32gb kit if you feel like 16 is not enough
