Dear Customer Thank you for choosing Crucial. If the motherboard has an M.2 NVMe PCIE slot, then P3 SSD should work in it. But still it would be better if you could check and confirm the specifications of your computer in the User manual once. It is recommended that you look for compatible parts by running the Scanner tool on Crucial website. https://www.crucial.com/store/systemscanner Regarding the Gen4 not working, please send more details of that SSD to our email support [email protected] and we will assist you further.
