Yes, the grinder will hold enough beans to brew 12 cups. Using the scoop that is included with the unit, I use one level scoop for each cup I plan to brew. I usually only brew 8 cups, but if I want a particularly strong pot, I can either use heaping scoops or I can add 10 or 12 scoops and still only add 8 cups of water.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Fill the grinder cup up. Plenty strong for 12 cups
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use a large coffee scoop and use one scoop for every 2 cups. Hence, 6 scoops for 12 cups.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The standard scoop for beans is a 1/8th cup. But, always use two scoops equal to 1/4th cup that makes great coffee. We like it a little stronger so we use the 1/4 cup beans then add 1 scoop ground coffee. It doesn't overflow and it is perfect!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Almost 1 1/2 tablespoons of whole beans per cup, or 1 tblspn ground beans per cup. 12 Cup capacity, so 12 to 18 tblspns, depending on the bean or your tastes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the Cuisinart Automatic Grind and Brew 12 Cup Coffeemaker is designed to grind enough beans for a full pot of coffee. The built-in grinder is capable of grinding the right amount of beans to make up to 12 cups of coffee. As for the amount of beans to add, a general guideline is to use one scoop (or tablespoon) of coffee beans per cup of coffee. Therefore, for a full 12-cup pot, you would typically use 12 scoops of coffee beans. However, this can be adjusted according to your taste preferences. If you prefer a stronger coffee, you can add more beans; if you prefer a milder coffee, you can use fewer beans. It's always a good idea to experiment a bit to find the perfect amount that suits your taste. The Cuisinart coffeemaker's grinder and brew strength settings will help you fine-tune the flavor to your liking.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, 12 spoons for 12 cups of coffee!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. At most you can fit 8 tablespoons of beans. So 8 cups. But it has a problem with moisture getting into the grinder after each use making the beans stick to the sides.
