“I have the Cuisinart with the k-cup feature. When I use a k-cup and lift the lid after it brews I find what looks like the ground coffee has blown back around the top needle. I also noticed that the black rubber gasket at the top needle ruptures top ofcup”

We push the k-cup down as we insert, to pop the bottom. That releases the pressure and we haven't had any more problems. Hope this helps
