“Does the coffee basket come out, not the copper one , the one where you can use paper filters also whats the minimum amount of time fore the hot plate after you brew carafe coffee???? Also how does the pod holder pop out to use the other thing in it”

Yes. Coffee basket comes out. Hot plate is hot for more than two hours. Don't know exactly since we usually empty the coffee pot in the first hour and a half. Just open the pod side and pull the holder out with two fingers.
