“On the model doc-3200, does the coffee grinds drip through into your coffee when you use the gold mesh filter?”

• The manual says probably will. I use the basket plus a small # 2 cone paper filter inside it, Less mess too; only have to rinse basket. The grounds go into the garden along with the paper filter.

• No...But paper filters seem to fail with more than five scoops of coffee in them

• As long as you use coarse ground coffee it seems to work well.
