If your phone runs on 120v it should do the trick, depending on the rest of your fiber equipment also has battery backups.

It shouldn’t have anything to do with the signal source. As long as the base is plugged into the backup you should have phone service for a while. Not sure if the sub-bases would also have to be backed up.
